The annual game festival BBI GAME ZONE is one of the most awaited events at the college campus. This year, BBI GAME ZONE was celebrated with the theme “Halloween”. BBI GAME ZONE was celebrated on 13th February 2019 in college campus.

The registration started by 7.30 a. m. at main entrance of the college. While registrations, the participants were provided with entry token on payment of the entry fees.

The inaugural ceremony took place on 2nd floor, immediately after arrival of our Principal Dr. Mrs. S. V. Sant and Vice Principal Mr. P. K. Mishra. The games were started around 10.00 a. m. Many students from B.COM, B.A, & Self finance took part in various games.

The games were organized by FYBBI, SYBBI & TYBBI students. The schedule of games at various venues was as follows:

This is an event where students take a brief time off their busy schedule and strive hard to acclaim proficiency in the field of games.

 Industrial Visit to SEBI

       A total of 70 students from theFYBBI, SYBBI & TYBBI were taken for an educational Visit to SEBI located at the BandraKurla Complex, Mumbai on 20th August 2015. Students were introduced to the inception of SEBI, the regulatory role played by SEBI in Indian Stock Market, various measures taken by SEBI in safeguarding investor’s interest and also on its role in creating awareness and educating investors. The visit was informative and interactive it provided the students the latest information on SEBI as the regulatory body governing the securities market. The presentation and lecture was delivered by Ms Amruta Shukla Assistant General Manager.        The session aims at intellectual enhancement of all the knowledge gained at classrooms to practical feasibility of the same. Various financial products, working of capital markets & awareness towards savings were the part of discussions. Students were explored to basics & fundamentals of stock markets with emphasis on know how and it’s working at practical level. Various laws & operations of different markets were discussed during the session.

Industrial Visit to Bunty Foods, Ambernath

      A batch of 100 students of FYBBI & TYBBI was taken to Bunty foods (India) Pvt Ltd, Ambernath (east) which produces PARLE –G glucosuse biscuits. Parle Products has been India’s largest manufacturer of biscuits and confectionery for almost 80 years. Makers of the world’s largest selling biscuit, Parle-G, and a host of other very popular brands, the Parle name symbolizes quality, nutrition and great taste. With a reach spanning even to the remotest villages of India, the company has definitely come a very long way since its inception.

 

Report on Extension Activity to Dilkhush Children’s Home Orphanage

Student of Gokhale College visited an orphanage in Gorai village –Dilkhush Children’s home which is a home for orphan, slum, and street children.

At present 57 children between 5-18 years of age are living in Dilkhush Children’s home which is under the authority of SRS of charity of St.Anne.  

The team reached the orphanage at around 10.45a.m the children of Dilkhush Childrens home were very pleasantly excited to receive the member. The student volunteer greeted them with great enthusiasm. There was a huge smile on the face of orphanage children and we were very happy to engage with them. The team member also met the Sister Cicilia Kokya the care taker of Dilkhush Children home.

We distributed snacks and food grain to the children. We also engaged them in sports activities like cricket. All the children look so excited and joyful.

The team spent an hour with children of Dilkhush Children home. It was very satisfying experience.

11 student volunteer from B.com in banking and insurances from class FYBBI and SYBBI participated in activity accompanied by faculty Assistant Professor Ms.Sailee Mhatre.
