Department of Life-Long Learning and Extension (DLLE)
Introduction: The Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (D.L.L.E.) known earlier as Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension established on October 12 in the year 1978 and has been recognized as a statutory department of the University of Mumbai since 1994 to promote a meaningful and sustained rapport between the Universities and the community. The DLLE offers flexible continuing education opportunities for the students.
In our college DLLE unit was started in 2017-18 under the principalship of Dr. Mrs. S. V. Sant. The unit is working for community welfare through its various projects like Status of Women in Society (SWS), Career Project (CP), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Industry Orientation Project (IOP), Annapurna Yojana (APY) and Population Education Club (PEC). From the beginning our college prepared to select Status of Women in Society (SWS), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and Annapurna Yojana (APY) projects for the students. The students from Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs can enrol for these projects and carry out activities under the guidance of Extension work teachers. They develop various soft skills during these activities.
