At the outset, I wish to extend my warm welcome to dear students, parents  and well-wishers of the Gokhale Education Society’s Shri Bhaushaeb Vartak Arts,Commerce and Science College, Borivali (W), Mumbai. Today, the role of a College is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive assets of an ever-changing global society.  I am proud to mention here that, Gokhale Education Society is our parent Institution. Gokhale Education Society is the synonym for excellence in the field of Education. Its glorious journey of 105    years tells the story of the quality of education and dignity of the teaching profession.  

Dear Students, to succeed in life, requires hard work.  At the same time, it is also necessary to take the right decision at the right time. For that, it is necessary to have decision-making ability in us and  this decision-making ability is created through quality education.  Our qualified and dedicated teachers are serving at their best to develop the multidimensional personality of our students through quality education.

Friends, Gokhale Education Society established this Arts, Commerce and Science College at Borivali (West) in June 1979. The College was thereafter renamed as G.E. Society’s Shri Bhausaheb Vartak Arts, Commerce and Science College on 19th Feb. 1990. It is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and Re-Accredited by NAAC. Our College has completed 43 years of its fruitful existence. The mission of the college is to build strong group of young people with discipline and character to make our society proud of them and to develop the comprehensive personality of our students. There is an old popular proverb “When planning for a year, plant corn; When planning for a decade; plant trees; When planning for life, educate people.” Our College has dedicated itself to provide quality education to build the future of our Nation.

Dear Students and Parents, with the blessings of Honorable Late Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi, Secretary and Director General   and under the guidance of our dedicated and dynamic leaders Honorable Prin. S. B. Pandit, Chairman, Honorable Principal Dr. Mrs. S. V. Sant, Vice- Chairman  and  Honorable Prin. Dr. Mrs. Dipti Deshpande Secretary and HR Director and other Honorable Members of Management of Gokhale Education Society our College is doing well in all manners.

Dear Students and Parents, I would like to express my deep sentiments of gratitude to every one of you for your constant support, love and concern towards the College which enables and encourages us to strive hard to carry forward the mission of spreading value-based  and quality education to one and all.
